After stepping away from the championship in 2024 due to disagreements with certain aspects of the series, the hard enduro icon is set to make a remarkable comeback at age 50. Jarvis will join forces with Daryoosh Ghorbani under the FASTOS x Jarvis Team banner, with their campaign scheduled to begin at the Valleys Hard Enduro on May 10th. Despite recent knee issues and a three-week hiatus from riding, Jarvis has already shown promising form during preseason testing, expressing satisfaction with both his new bike setup and team dynamics. His return to the championship not only adds another chapter to his storied career but also brings one of the sport’s most influential figures back to the world stage, promising an exciting season ahead for hard enduro fans worldwide.

The partnership has garnered enthusiasm from all parties involved, with Plews Tyres founder Josh Plews expressing honor at working with such a respected member of the hard enduro community. Gerston himself has already praised the performance of Plews’ Tough One Spec B tyres, highlighting their exceptional traction and terrain-handling capabilities. The partnership will be facilitated through Risk Racing, Plews Tyres’ exclusive U.S. distributor, whose owner James Burry sees the collaboration as a perfect match between rider expertise and product quality.

🇬🇧 Edge Launches Ambitious Six-Round UK Hard Enduro Championship

Exciting developments are emerging in the UK Hard Enduro scene as Edge launches a comprehensive six-round championship series for 2025. The series kicks off on March 15-16 at a brand new venue in North Yorkshire, featuring an innovative two-day format that promises maximum ride time and value for competitors. Each round will begin with Saturday qualifying through Hard Enduro Sprint events, followed by an intense 2.5-hour multi-lap race on Sunday. The championship caters to all skill levels with multiple classes ranging from Premier and Expert through to Novice, plus dedicated categories for Youth, Veterans, and Ladies. The series calendar spans across northern England, with rounds in North Yorkshire, Cumbria, Lincolnshire, and Lancashire, running from March through December. Edge has emphasized rider-friendly features including multiple line choices, hard/easy options, and practical amenities like hard standing paddocks and free camping. With early bird pricing now available and a modest £30 deposit to secure a spot, we’re eagerly anticipating more details about this promising addition to the Hard Enduro calendar in the coming weeks.

Trystan Hart is a Factory KTM hard enduro racer from Canada, known for his competitive spirit and ambitious international racing goals. These are the highest level of international hard enduro events. Points are awarded to the top 15 finishers. The winner receives 100 points and the 15th place finisher receives 1 point. 

These are special events or notable races. Usually attended by a number of international riders. Points are awarded to the top 12 finishers. The winner receives 80 points and the 12th place finisher receives 1 point. 

These are competitive or high level events, usually associated with a national championship. Points are awarded to the top 10 finishers. The winner receives 60 points and the 10th place finisher receives 1 point.
